I worked with the CEO, Art Director, and Sr. Brand Manager to hit major marketing beats by creating Keyart to promote Slime Rancher 2 updates as well as art for the official launch of the game!

Thumbnails
Ideas built out with the CEO and Art director to capture the new additions to the game. I use the previous update text to get an idea of where the new update logo will be and what parts will be visible for the final banner..
Utilized reference from the game to capture the mystery of the Labyrinth portal. Blocking out values helped to plan out the lighting direction breaking up the foreground, middle ground, and background elements.
Color
Color style depends on the update! For instance with 1.0 launch we wanted to reflect the SR2 main keyart style as a call back to original marketing of Slime Rancher 2 compared to the post 1.0 art which had a softer look to mimic previous updates.
Banners
This brings me to the final stage for each update. After finalizing the art and using correct title for the update, I then receive a list of dimensions for each platforms and create banners for:
Steam
Epic
Xbox
PlayStation
And additonal ones for Paid Media
